Tartiflette is a rich, savory French gratin made with potatoes, bacon or Ham, onions, and cream. It's creamy, crunchy, and a perfect cold-weather dish. A rich and decadent casserole of sliced potatoes cooked in salty bacon and plenty of cheese, Tartiflette comes from the Savoy region in the French Alps.

750g Potatoes
250g Reblochon
200 g Ham | We like it with Prosciutto Cotto
3 tablespoons cream
2 onions
20g butter
1 teaspoon coarse salt
1 good pinch of pepper

Directions
Peel the potatoes. Cook them in salted boiling water for about 20 to 25 minutes, until they are tender. Drain them and cut them into slices.
Peel the onions and chop them. Melt the butter in a frying pan and sauté the onions for about fifteen minutes over low heat.
Mix the potatoes, onions, sliced Ham with the cream. Season and pour everything into a gratin dish.
Add the Reblochon cut in halves or quarters on top and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20 to 25 minutes. Voila!
